This elegant Mezzachimera floor/table lamp by Artemide was designed in 1969 by the iconic Italian designer Vico Magistretti. The Mezzachimera is the smaller sibling of the famous Chimera lamp and exudes the same sculptural elegance, but in a more compact form.
The lamp features a flowing shade made of frosted methacrylate that subtly diffuses the light. Thanks to the combination of indirect and diffused lighting, it creates a warm, atmospheric glow that instantly adds coziness to any space. Perfect as an eye-catcher in the living room, bedroom, or reading nook.
The lamp stands on a metal base and is in very good vintage condition (see photos). A timeless piece that reflects Magistretti’s simplicity and conceptual approach – design that effortlessly stands the test of time.
