They started a factory for the metal industry, which focused on lighting from the start. The name SIS stands for Sirius Schweinfurt. Today they produce a wide range of industrial lighting. The company is led by Stefan Lang, the fourth generation to lead the family business.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Schweinfurt<\/strong><span class=\"apple-converted-space\"> <\/span>is a small town with about 52,000 inhabitants (2016) in northwestern Bavaria, on the right bank of the River Main. Schweinfurt is known for its metal industry. Lang GmbH &amp; Co<\/strong>. in Schweinfurt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The gooseneck has a beautiful vintage rusty patina. The base and the lamp itself have been completely refurbished in beautiful blue (RAL5019 high gloss) and finished with a matte epoxy transparent lacquer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The lamp has an embossed &#8216;SIS&#8217; feature on the lampshade. The lamp was completely rewired and equipped with a new black pressure switch, black iron cord and black plug with earthing.
